Yesterday, I was grateful for laughter, which killed the bad mood I was in. Today, I am grateful for all of my journals/notebooks. These are my most important ones currently in use. The one on top is a bullet journal of sorts where I really just keep track of everything I do every day. Also pictured: three journals of important info and to-do lists and story outlines, one notebook with story rewriting notes, two journals are for research unrelated to writing, and I have a three different journals for different things. For example: one journal I used for prompts from the book Me and White Supremacy.
I am grateful for my completed Disaster Crimes series. For each story, all the characters, the ideas, the inspiration, the creativity, my muse, the days and weeks and months and years it took to complete it, and, of course, the readers who have read the series (even just one installment). So very grateful. ♥️🙌🥰♥️🙌🥰♥️🙌🥰
I am grateful for my tea drawer! It’s taken me a while to acquire this much tea. lol I have 19 different teas here, plus instant cocoa and apple cider packets. Oh, and dark chocolate bars. 😋 I drink some kind of hot tea every day depending on my mood.
I haven’t posted lately because I’ve had very simple gratitudes the past few days. Simple but still important. Simple but things that can be taken for granted by many, such as my water bottle because it’s been helping me to drink more water, potato salad because it filled my tummy and popsicles because I’ve been craving them, and my water filtering pitcher because it’s helping me to reduce my plastic waste and makes my well water taste good (I never drank it straight from the tap before).
Today I’m grateful for the talent in The Sound of Music. Usually I watch this in November or December, but I didn’t last year. I figure Valentine’s Day is a good time to watch this epic love story that’s far more than just a love story. ❤️ RIP Christopher Plummer ❤️
Today I am grateful for snuggles with my cats. I didn’t want to get out of bed because three of them came to cuddle. Cole was here, too, but left.
