Paisley never imagined she’d hear those words coming from the demon lord, but nothing has gone according to plan. Following the murder of her parents, Paisley becomes queen for the vampyre and faye factions. The day she’s crowned, a threat pits her up against Lord Case, an infuriating demon who claims he wants her the first time they meet. And damn if she doesn’t desire him, too. The moment Paisley barges into Case’s home with her accusations, she fascinates him, especially how she’s as turned on by him as he is of her, but there’s a little problem. She keeps trying to kill him despite his insistence that he had nothing to do with her parents’ deaths. When Case vows to protect her, it’s only a matter of time before they enjoy each other. And they do. Every chance they get. But someone is trying to assassinate Paisley, and Case isn’t ready to give her up. After all, there’s a fine line between enemies and lovers.
