This stack of notebooks is a series of four books Chrys started writing when she was twelve-years-old. She still has all these old notebooks, and she even rewrote them; it is the series with Avrianna Heavenborn that she’s hoping to publish.

I first wrote Hurricane Crimes in a composition book. Here is part of the first page before edits. You can see my bad handwriting, spelling errors, the other title I was considering using, and the lines under "Sabrina" because I didn't know what to name the hurricane when I first started writing.

I wrote this short story when I was in 2nd grade. It’s obvious that even when I was a child I gravitated toward dark themes (e.g., killer toys).

Chrys’ kitties love to take over her desk. 🙂

My writer's cauldron. I had pencils, pens, highlighters, scrap paper, a mini stapler and a bookmark inside it; everything a writer could need.
