This stack of notebooks is a series of four books Chrys started writing when she was twelve-years-old. She still has all these old notebooks, and she even rewrote them; it is the series with Avrianna Heavenborn that she’s hoping to publish.

Chrys first wrote Hurricane Crimes in a composition book. This is the first page before edits. You can see her bad handwriting, spelling errors, the other title she was considering using, and the lines under “Sabrina” because she didn’t know what to name the hurricane at the time.

Chrys wrote this short story when she was in 2nd grade. It’s obvious that even when she was a child she gravitated toward dark themes.

Chrys’ kitties love to take over her desk. 🙂
